Prices and Payment / 価格・お支払い

Selling price / 販売価格	The price of each product is displayed on its product page in Australian dollars (AUD). Applicable Australian GST is included in displayed prices. The final order total is shown before payment.
Payment methods / お支払方法	Credit and debit cards accepted through the secure checkout, together with supported digital wallets including Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Only the methods available for the customer’s order and location will be displayed at checkout.
Payment timing / お支払時期・期限	Payment is authorised and processed when the customer submits the order at checkout. Card statement timing is determined by the customer’s bank or payment provider. An order is not confirmed until payment has been successfully authorised.

Additional Costs / 商品代金以外の必要料金

• Australian delivery: currently AUD $0 for the Standard and Express delivery methods made available by the checkout.
• Australia Post International: AUD $35 for orders from AUD $1 to AUD $799; AUD $0 for eligible orders of AUD $800 or more.
• FedEx International: AUD $120 where that service is selected and available.
• Import charges: customs duty, import VAT/GST, brokerage fees or other taxes imposed by the destination country are not included and are the customer’s responsibility.
• Change-of-mind returns: return delivery, tracking and insurance costs are the customer’s responsibility. Original expedited delivery, gift-wrapping and insurance charges are not refundable unless Australian Opal Cutters made an error or applicable law requires otherwise.

Any applicable charge will be displayed before the order is submitted. Shipping services and eligibility may depend on the destination, order value and product.

Order Fulfilment and Delivery / 商品の引き渡し時期

In-stock orders are normally processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation, excluding weekends and public holidays. The available delivery service and estimated transit information are shown at checkout, and tracking details are sent after dispatch.

Custom-made, resized, engraved, specially sourced or made-to-order products have individual production timeframes. The applicable estimate will be stated on the product page, quotation or order correspondence before the customer commits to purchase.

Many natural opals are unique, one-of-a-kind products and remain subject to availability until an order is accepted.

Returns, Exchanges and Cancellations / 返品・交換・キャンセル

Eligible products purchased through our online store may be returned for change of mind within 14 calendar days of receiving the order. Eligible online change-of-mind returns may receive a refund to the original payment method, an exchange for another available product, or store credit.

To qualify, the product must be unworn and unused other than reasonable inspection, undamaged and unaltered, in its original saleable condition, and include its original packaging, certificates, tags and accessories. It must not have been resized, engraved, modified, recut or specially altered and must be accompanied by proof of purchase.

Custom-made, bespoke or special-order products; personalised or engraved products; resized or altered jewellery; recut or modified opals or gemstones; gift cards, gift vouchers and Opal Cash vouchers; clearly identified final-sale or non-returnable products; and worn, damaged, altered or otherwise non-saleable products are excluded from change-of-mind returns. These exclusions do not limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Please contact us before returning a product. The return must be dispatched within 14 calendar days from the date it was received. Approved refunds are processed promptly after the return has been received and assessed and are made to the original payment method unless another method is required by law or agreed with the customer. Exchanges are subject to availability.

Cancellation requests should be made before dispatch. Once custom manufacture, alteration, engraving, sourcing or other requested work has commenced, cancellation may not be available except where required by law.

Damaged, Incorrect or Misdescribed Products / 商品の破損・誤配送・説明との相違

Please contact Australian Opal Cutters as soon as reasonably possible if a product arrives damaged, is incorrectly supplied, is materially different from its description, or you believe it does not meet a consumer guarantee. We may request photographs, order details and an opportunity to inspect the product. Where a problem is confirmed, we will provide the remedy required by applicable consumer law. For a major problem under the Australian Consumer Law, the customer may choose a refund or replacement and may also be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. For a minor problem, Australian Opal Cutters may provide a free repair within a reasonable time; if the problem cannot be repaired or is not fixed within a reasonable time, replacement or refund rights may arise. Store credit may be provided instead where the customer prefers and agrees.

Nothing in this disclosure limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Business Licences / 資格・免許

No special licence is required for the ordinary retail sale of the jewellery and opals offered on this website. Australian Opal Cutters Pty Ltd operates under ABN 60 092 602 027. Any licence relevant to a particular regulated product or service will be disclosed where applicable.
