Experience the thrill and satisfaction of actually cutting your own Opal at Australian Opal Cutters ! With this experience you will choose your very own piece of 'rough' Opal and go through the steps of 'bruting', 'rubbing', 'shaping' and 'polishing' your Opal!

The Opal lesson takes about 40 minutes and you will leave with your very own cut and polished Australian Opal.

If you have a family of 2 Adults and up to 3 children please select this item 2 times at checklout ($150 for a family or group)

This is a great family experience and suits all ages.

Please note: this is a cutting experience and we use 'potch' Opal that has little or no colour, so please be aware that you will not be cutting a gem with a lot of money in this experience.
